Lago del Luzzone

Lake Luzzone is an artificial lake located in the Blenio Valley. This large reservoir was created by a dam built on the Brenno River. The lake is surrounded by majestic mountains and offers a spectacular scenery. The waters of Lake Luzzone are used for hydroelectric power generation, but it is also a good lake for fishing. The lake is reachable by car, one hour from Bellinzona and an hour and thirty minutes from Lugano.
