
Lago Retico
Lake Retico is a picturesque alpine lake situated at an altitude of 2372 meters in Valle di Campo, within the municipality of Blenio in the Lepontine Alps, near the border between Ticino and Graubünden. To reach it, you need to hike a scenic trail for a couple of hours starting from the Bovarina hut. This location is a true haven for nature enthusiasts and anglers alike. Surrounded by breathtaking alpine landscapes, it offers pristine fishing spots that leave you speechless. It's an ideal destination for fishing enthusiasts, promising great satisfaction that more than compensates for t he effort required to reach it. The trail to reach the Retico lake starts from Alpe Predasca, passing by Capanna Bovarina. The duration of the hike is approximately two to two and a half hours. There is the possibility to camp for one night on the lake sho res.
